Good morning!

I had a wonderful coaching call with my friend Damon, he does some very interesting work in tapping / EFT. You can check out his information HERE.

We talked about my mental “cleaner upper” that had me feel important, smart and helpful in my childhood, and how that has been of great service to me in many areas throughout my life. We also uncovered together that its been in places it DOESN’T serve me, like intimate relationships, and even in some art projects or social rights efforts. While usually I try to come from a place of taking a stand FOR something rather than ever AGAINST something, sometimes this “cleaner upper’ DOES sneak in and get in the way of creating more love.

I really wanted to share this with you all bc its such an important thing to view. God really doesn’t make any mistakes on us. We are created perfectly, and all the aspects and characteristics we have were chosen for us. However, we sometimes make mistakes on where and when and how to use those aspects. But in the end, there’s really nothing to fix. If we can learn to know ourselves, love and accept ourselves, we’ll be able to take on these characteristics and learn when to use the hammer and when not to. You have a hammer, but you are not the hammer.

The beauty in this journey of mine is building a world of my own, a place where I can understand and love myself, creating more love and acceptance. But what this DOESN’T mean is trying to avoid storms, or difficulty, pain or even suffering. It doesn’t mean I don’t ever hammer a nail. Having this world of mine doesn’t mean any avoidance. AT ALL. But it does get me clear on the fact that I am me, and I love me, and at the end of the day, this journey is with me and my higher power. All these battles are within myself to conquer and victor. And, sometimes the victory is letting it pass on by like a beautiful cloud. Sometimes the “cleaner upper” is on break! 🙂

I hope you all are enjoying my blogs, I really love having you on the other side!

  1. Love this.

I remember last year when you were mentoring me you discussed this same thing and it really opened my mind and put in perspective that every part of me is perfect. I don’t have to get rid of anything. I just have to learn how to use my characteristics in spaces/situations its needed to show up in. This was such a great reminder reading this.

    Thank you 😀

(btw I’m catching up on all our blogs so you may recieve some more comments on your other entries! Lol 🙂
